The local place with all the good food family style. Order a few plates and feed the whole family. We like the Kimchee fried rice, garlic fried chicken and Teri beef. Always busy to plan ahead. If first time, parking lot is under building with valet and then take elevator to third floor. Aloha!

When you’re looking for this place, you might be asking yourself: am I in the right spot? House in what looks like an office complex, this spacious restaurant is a fantastic experience . Do not let the sports bar vibe for you. When you order any of their famous dishes: garlic chicken, fried rice, or their pork chop - you will realize why this is a must-visit-place. The portions are simply enormous. The food is very well cooked. And the service is familiar and inviting. I will always eat here when visiting Honolulu. (Attached our photos from before, and after, two adults ate everything they could of the pork chop dish…)

Amazing fresh food! Excellent service! I met my cousins here from dinner. It was my first experience here. We had a rather large party and ordered multiple plates of food. All of the food was hot, presented well and delicious? The poke was especially fresh. The waitress was very attentive and always making sure we had what we needed. Fantastic dining experience. I highly recommend!

Elevated local style foods in a comfortable updated atmosphere. We had friends visiting from Belgium and wanted to give them a taste of the local flavors. The 5 of us came in on a Monday night. We had the prix fixe menu for $167 (serves 4-5 guests), and the portions were massive. Definitely family-style dining! Everything came out hot, timely, flavorful, and perfect for sharing. Honestly, the prix 4-5 menu could've fed 6-7 people easily. Although we did add the Roast Pork Poke to the order. The famous pan-fried pork chops lived up its long standing reputation . Crispy on the outside, juicy and tender inside. The pieces with the bone are pure gold!! The roast pork poke was another standout. Tender, rich and awe man sooo satisfying!! Our Belgium friends couldn't get enough. The shoyu citrus vinaigrette added a bright acidity that cut through the beautiful richness of the pork. The kalbi had great char and tenderness, though a bit on the sweet side for my taste. The kimchi fried rice hit the spot with a nice kimchi flavor that was not overpowering and easily enough to feed 7-8 people. The fried chicken could've been a touch crispier, but still packed good flavor. Service was excellent. Friendly, attentive, and quick. The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed, ideal for groups or watching sports with plenty of big TVs. Our long table for five was a bit worn and could use some refinishing, but overall, this was a delicious, satisfying experience. Generous portions, great flavors, and a fun local vibe. Would definitely return with friends or family. Happy Eating!!

Everyone recommended this place so I wasn't sure it would live up to the hype. So glad I chose to go. I got the Roast Pork Poke and the signature fried rice. Upon arrival at the table, I just knew I made the right choice. The portion size was enormous and the taste was out of this world. What's better is the left overs. Tasted even better the next day (and the next... it was a lot of food).

All the dishes on the menu are meant to be shared. We were a party of 4 and ordered the yakisoba noodles, boneless shortribs and pan fried pork chops. Each dish was large enough to feed 3 to 4, and they were all delicious. W

We went to another favorite local spot for dinner on my trip home, Side Street Inn on Kapahulu Avenue. This place is known for family style restaurant with tasty local cuisine and huge portions. It was just my son and me so all we could handle was the awesome garlic chicken and fried rice, both house specialties. We killed the chicken and barely put a dent in the fried rice even though they were both so good. The prices are in line with portion sizes and quality of food. The restaurant isn’t fancy but it was cozy and a fun environment. We definitely recommend this place if you like good local food and like sharing…. And it’s close to Leonards Bakery for Malasadas after dinner….

Great food, we sat at the bar and our server was awesome . We didn't know they had happy hour, so we order from that menu, perfect amount of food for two. We had fried rice, chicken wings and yakisoba very tasty and great prices. You can make reservations.
